Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #1: Name your location relating to your theme. This sets the tone of the party before it even starts! Invite your guests to Nairobi National Forest or Awana’s Restaurant in Lagos, Nigeria, etc. By naming it and referring to that name you’ll create a definite place and time for your guests. It’s amazing the credibility that is given when it is given a name!
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #2: Include a mock newspaper article about a famous University professor or explorer who has mysteriously disappeared in the jungle. Your party activities can reflect the search for the explorer (see game ideas). Maybe at the end of the party you can have the missing person appear and give out goodie bags as a thank you for finding him or her.
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #3: Once you have your paper, you can take things a step further. Try treating the envelope. You might want to burn a corner off the envelope. (For more paper treatment, see the Reference Section at the end of this booklet). A neat trick, though it requires spending a little money, is to go to a craft store and purchase a small wax sealer. They are great fun to use and will make your invitation feel like it’s from another time.
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #4: Send mock airplane tickets with your invitations, inviting your guests to travel to your foreign country or exotic location.
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #5: Make paper airplane invitations. You can print the invitation on a standard 8 ½” by 11” paper and fold the airplane. Or, make the airplane and hand-write your party information on the outside of the planes.
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #6: An easy and quick idea – get die-cuts of jungle animals or shapes. You can find them at craft or scrapbooking stores. You may already have a die-cut machine…so you can use a shape for an elephant, lion, palm tree. Write the party information on the shapes, or insert the shapes into standard invitations. These would also be great thank you cards after the party.
Jungle Safari Theme Party Invitation Ideas #7: Make a giant leaf out of construction paper or cardstock or even wrapping paper. Write your information on the leaf and fold it up to send to your guests
